  I heard about Dr Mendoza from my sister in law. He is my nieces pediatrician. I made an appointment at the Centennial Hills location for 9:30 am. I arrived to my appointment on time. I waited as other people who had come in after me were called back for Dr Mendoza. I sat until 10:30 and finally got up to ask the receptionist when my daughter would be called back, she told me it shouldn't be too much longer. I returned to my seat and by now my three year old is getting antsy from waiting so long. By 10:50 I got up and walked out. An hour and 20 minutes I was waiting to see this dr. I called to reschedule her appointment and the next they have is Sept. 1. It's just ridiculous.

  We had no issues with the pediatrician. Let it be known, however that the attitude of the staff does a great deal with the experience. We have recently moved from Las Vegas to Sacramento, asking for our daughter's shot records. We perfectly understand that there needs to be a signed release form from the new pediatrician so the previous one can send them the shot records. In this case, I was only asking them if there is another way to obtain the shot records without having to go through the pediatrician because our daughter's appointment is not until Aug. 24 and she is starting at a new day care facility on Monday, Aug 14 and they are requiring a copy of the shot records. I was merely asking if there is an alternative way. They passed me on to at least 3 people and the last lady from this office went on a defensive, irate mode yelling, "We can't just blindly send immunization records without the release form. That's the law. We need to see an ID and since you're in Sacramento, you can't just come in and show us your ID" So I said I am not asking you to blindly send it to me, I'm asking if there is another way for you to verify my identity and be able to send me the records. This lady went on yelling that I should go online and you will find the shot records there. Very unprofessional and uncalled for. I hope somebody else calls this out. This is unbecoming for somebody who deals with people on a daily basis.
