- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Kogut preformed all of my son's surgeries after he was born with gastroschisis. She took the time to meet with me before his birth; she sat down with me, listened to all my concerns, entertained all my "what if" scenarios and really made me feel confident in her abilities and at ease about his surgeries. Dr. Fiore also assisted me after my son's birth when Dr. Kogut was out of the office. They're a great team and were quick to respond with the appropriate urgency during the first year of my son's life when we had multiple emergency situations caused by his birth defect. They also took great care of him while he was in the NICU/PICU and were appropriately cautious about his care and often asked for my input--that really made me feel empowered in my son's health which is something I know is important to a lot of parents.May 24, 2017by Clare Bates
